Telecommuting for Greener Productivity

If I was a young professional and had two school age children, there would be many advantages to telecommuting. It would be much more convenient because I would have a very flexible schedule. For example, if one of my kids was sick at school, I could pick them up right away and then get right back to work. But if I was at work, I would have to let the boss know and then, if he/she lets me leave, it would take at least a half hour to pick up my kid from school, and then I would have to go all the way back to work. Another advantage is that it would save gas. A disadvantage would be that if I had any questions, I wouldn't be able to ask anyone.
